In 1994, after a decade in corporate communications, Ann Bouchard founded Bouchard Communications Group. With more than 20 years of strategic marketing and communications experience, Ann’s diverse knowledge base brings depth to Bouchard Communications Group that allows her to see beyond the trends and uncover methods that receive proven results. Ann oversees the daily operations of the agency and serves as strategic counsel for clients in the areas of marketing, public relations, product development, branding, positioning, target marketing, research, competitive analysis and segmentation methodologies.
Some of her client work includes Electronic Systems & Services where she developed the strategies for outreach and communications regarding the City of San Francisco’s new ranked-choice voting system. She worked closely with city officials to organize press conferences, coordinate and direct the production of PSA’s for radio and T.V. and oversaw the creation of multi-lingual materials. Other clients include First Data, Sierra Pine, Sempra Energy, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Axsys Technologies, Addison Avenue Credit Union, Westfield, Cal Trans, City of Roseville and JTS Communities.
Ann is also the founder of Matrix Manager, Inc., an online direct marketing fulfillment program that specializes in highly targeted and specifically segmented direct marketing materials.
Her reputation for leading-edge marketing expertise has resulted in frequent speaking engagements to a variety of groups including the American Marketing Association, the Marketing Association of Credit Unions, the California Academic and Research Librarians Association and the Financial Institutions Marketing Association. Ann currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National PR Consultants Group, the UC Davis Children’s Hospital Executive Advisory Board, the UC Davis Children’s Miracle Network Business Council, The Marketing Association of Credit Unions and the Sacramento Ballet Marketing Committee. Ann is an expert in strategic marketing planning, research, and analysis and is active in all Bouchard endeavors. Above all, her passion for quality is inherent in all the agency’s creations.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from San Diego State University.
