RadioShack: Tech and Maker Influencer Engagement

Radio Shack selected San Francisco as a target market to showcase its new proof-of-concept stores in 2015. To showcase its new design to the tech and maker community, Radio Shack hired the Bouchard team to lay the groundwork among influencers within these spheres. The strategy was to engage the influencers one-on-one before hosting them for an exclusive, red carpet preview event.

Our team secured 15 meetings with RadioShack’s VP of Marketing and some of the tech and maker industry’s most influential thought leaders. These connections helped broker even more outreach opportunities at maker spaces, maker meet-up groups, and tech events, putting RadioShack in front of thousands of tech and maker-minded people throughout San Francisco.

 The influencer engagement culminated with a 100+ VIP event that featured RadioShack’s entire executive team and some of San Francisco’s most influential personalities in the tech and maker space.
